Coup de Grace | DOOM is VOiiiD Collective’s newest contemporary dance work in development, driven by live electronic sound from Australian-Middle Eastern band Bcharre. Part spectacle, part survival ritual, the work wonders if we are manifesting our own apocalypse through the systems, entertainments and beliefs that glorify destruction.

Bodies wrestle with chaos, resilience and catastrophe, becoming both witness and participant in an unraveling world. Between dread and delight lies a question: if humans are inherently compassionate, why do we keep building machines of our own undoing?
